You have read the articles. You have tried the reward chart. You have been calm, and then you have not been calm, and then you have felt terrible about it.

Most parents of a child with ADHD are not short of information. They are short of a system, and someone to walk them through it while they try it on their own child, in the same week they learn it.

Parenting Together: ADHD is that: four sessions, live online, in a closed group of families, with a step to practise at home between each one.

Is this a fit?

This may be a good fit if…

Your child is 6 to 12, with ADHD, diagnosed or suspected.

Mornings, homework or bedtime turn into a battle most days.

Rewards and consequences work for a few days, then stop.

You are ready to change things at home, and to practise.

Probably not the right fit if…

  • You are new to ADHD and want to understand it first, or your child is a teenager. Start with Understanding ADHD, a three-hour workshop.
  • Your child needs help of their own. Individual Supports (ages 3 to 17) or Play 2gether (4 to 12, big feelings).
  • You want to know whether it is ADHD. That is an assessment. Message us and ask about one.

Your child does not attend. This programme is for you.

The four sessions

Level 1: Connect & Calm

Four Saturday mornings, two hours each · live online · from October 2026

The base comes first: understanding, connection and motivation, before anything else is built on top.

Understanding the ADHD brain

Why your child does what they do, and what ADHD changes about attention, impulse control and feelings. Then what kind of parent you want to be, separate from how today went.

Connection and staying calm

Special time: a few minutes a day of play your child chooses, and how to do it well. Plus ways to stay steady when your child is at their most provoking.

Emotion coaching

Giving your child words for what they feel, and coaching them through it rather than around it. How your calm helps them find theirs.

Praise and rewards that work

Why most praise does little, and what specific praise changes. Then a points system your child will actually engage with.

Between sessions there is a step to try with your own child, and a chat group with Sau Mun and the other families. The practice at home is the part that makes the sessions useful.

What makes it different

Built for real Saturday mornings

Practice, not a lecture. A closed group of up to twelve families, with small breakout rooms and role-play. You practise in the session, try it at home, and come back to say how it went. You are not a name in an audience of two hundred.

Both parents, one fee. Children do best when the adults around them respond the same way, so we price per family and would rather both of you came. A grandparent or helper who does a lot of the daily care is welcome too; just tell us.

Half of it is about you. Strategies are hard to use at 7pm on a bad Wednesday without some way to stay steady yourself. Every session spends time on your own reactions and on what you value as a parent.

Two levels, in order. Level 1 builds the relationship and motivation. Level 2, from January 2027, adds routines, limits and consequences. Consequences tend to work better once the relationship is on firmer ground, which is why Level 2 is open only to families who have done Level 1.

Established approaches. The content draws on The Incredible Years parenting programme, and on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for the parent’s own side of it. International guidelines, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the UK’s NICE, recommend parent training in behaviour management as part of ADHD care for children.

Who leads it

Woo Sau Mun, ADHD and Executive Function Coach

Sau Mun is an ADHD and Executive Function Coach at The Mind Faculty in Kuala Lumpur, and she runs every session herself.

She is a coach, not a psychologist. She doesn’t diagnose or treat your child; she trains you. Before the group starts she has a short call with each family about your child, what you have tried and what you most want to change, and she will tell you honestly if this isn’t the right fit.

Questions parents ask

Before you get in touch

Does my child need a formal ADHD diagnosis?

No. The programme is for parents of children aged 6 to 12 with ADHD, diagnosed or suspected, including families still waiting for an assessment. Tell us where you are when you get in touch.

My child is on medication. Is this still relevant?

Yes. Medication and parent training do different jobs. Medication can help with the symptoms; parent training changes what happens between you and your child around them. We won’t advise on medication. That is for your paediatrician or psychiatrist.

Can I come without my partner?

Of course. Plenty of parents come alone, and single parents are very welcome. We encourage both parents because it helps when the adults at home respond the same way, but one parent coming every week is far better than two coming now and then.

Is this therapy?

No. It is a structured parent coaching programme. It is not therapy for you, and it is not assessment or treatment for your child. If your family needs something else, we would rather tell you on the first call than sell you four sessions.

Is online as good as in person?

For learning and practising parenting skills, online works well, and it means no Saturday traffic and both parents can join from the same sofa. The group is kept to twelve families so it stays a conversation, not a webinar.

What if I miss a session?

Tell us as early as you can. Each session builds on the last, so if you know you will miss several, moving to the next group is better. If you miss one unexpectedly, you will get the materials and a short catch-up before the following week.

Do I have to do Level 2?

No. Level 1 stands on its own. Level 2 is for families who want the structure, limits and consequences work on top, and it is open only to families who have done Level 1, because it works best in that order.

Twelve families. One Saturday morning a week.

Level 1, Connect & Calm, starts in October 2026. Message us to register your interest, and we will send you the dates and set up your call with Sau Mun.

Or write to hello@2-bloom.com

Registering your interest doesn’t commit you to anything. We confirm the dates and the fee in writing before you pay.

Not sure it’s right for you? Tell us a little about your child. We will tell you honestly whether this programme fits, and if it doesn’t, what might.
